Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 October 2026

About these terms #

These terms are the agreement between you and toMATEtwo when you use our app or website. By creating an account you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

toMATEtwo is provided by an individual developer based in Egypt, trading as "toMATEtwo" (not a company). You can reach us by email only: support@tomatetwo.com.

Who can use the app #

You must be 18 or older; the app is not for anyone younger. You must give your real date of birth and use your own photos. One person, one account. We may remove an account that breaks these rules, or that belongs to someone who has been suspended before.

Your account #

You sign in with an email code or with Google. Keep your email account secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.

Your name, gender and date of birth are fixed after sign-up, so people can trust them. If one is wrong, write to us.

Dating and BFF sections #

toMATEtwo has separate sections. Dating is for people who want to meet to date. BFF is for friendships only; it is not for dating or sexual contact, and you only see people of your own gender there. BlindDate is a weekly game: you enter with three date ideas, are paired with someone for a date, and see their photos only shortly before it. It needs a passed ID check (see the Privacy Policy).

You can join, pause or leave a section at any time. If a pair of people has a match in one section, they do not meet in the other section.

How plans and chat work #

In Dating, a match is meant to lead to a real date, so there are clocks:

In BFF, there is no plan or deadline: chat is open as soon as you match, and it does not close by time. You can still plan something together.

These rules are how the app works today; they may change as the app grows, and we will show the current rules in the app.

Your content and what you may post #

You own what you post (photos, bio, messages). You give us permission to store it and to show it to other people as the app is designed, and to keep and use it as these terms and the Privacy Policy describe, including for safety reviews. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the copies and records the Privacy Policy says we keep.

You may post only photos of yourself, and only things you have the right to share. Do not post photos or text that are sexual, show nudity, are violent, or show other people without their consent.

We may remove content that breaks these terms. If we remove a photo we tell you in the app.

Behaviour we do not allow #

Do not:

Meet safely: tell a friend, meet in a public place at first, and trust your instincts. We do not check who people really are.

Reporting, blocking and enforcement #

You can block anyone, or report them, from Discover, from a profile and from a chat. Blocking ends contact both ways at once and the other person is not told. A report is read by us; the reasons are: fake profile, inappropriate photos, harassment, spam or scam, under 18, advertising or sexual services, and other.

If someone breaks these terms we may remove content, end their matches, suspend or close their account, and keep the records the Privacy Policy describes. A suspended person sees a notice with the reason category and a way to contact us. We cannot promise to answer every report or to tell the person who reported what we decided.

If you think we made a mistake, write to support@tomatetwo.com.

Premium features #

Premium is not on sale yet. Today a member can be given Premium by us, or everyone can get it free for a period; the app shows when it ends.

Free members have a daily allowance of likes (15 a day, shared by Dating and BFF) and one super like a week in each section. Premium adds unlimited likes, a super like every day, the full "Liked you" list, a second chance on a missed match, and in Dating a rematch of an expired match (once per match).

We will not take any payment until the app shows you the price and what you get first. Payments will go through Google Play, whose billing, cancellation and refund terms will then apply.

BlindDate tickets. A ticket is needed to enter a weekly drop. Tickets are recorded in a ledger: granted, reserved when you enter, spent, returned or removed. A ticket is returned when no pair can be made that week, when you withdraw before the drop closes, or when the other person does not answer in time. A report does not return a ticket, and a ticket is not returned if you run out of time yourself. Beyond that we may refund or not at our discretion, in addition to any rights you have by law or from the store. Today tickets are given by us; buying them through Google Play comes later.

Ending your account #

You can delete your account any time in the app (Settings, Account, Delete account), or by email if you cannot open the app; see Delete your account. What stays afterwards is listed in the Privacy Policy.

We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms or the law, or to protect other people. We may also stop providing the app; if we do, we will tell you in the app first where we can.

Disclaimers and liability #

The app is provided "as is". We do not promise that you will find a match, a date or a friend, that the app will always work without interruption, or that other members are who they say they are. We do not control what members say or do, online or in person, and you meet them at your own risk.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from what members do, or from things outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not let us limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

In plain words: toMATEtwo is a free app run by one person. If we are ever responsible to you, it is only for the loss you directly suffer and could reasonably expect, and, as far as the law allows, no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem (nothing, for a free account). We are not liable for indirect losses or lost opportunities. This does not take away consumer rights you have where you live that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms #

We may change these terms, for example when the app changes. We change the date above and, for changes that matter, tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.

Governing law and contact #

These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt settle disputes, except that if you use the app as a consumer you keep the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live, and may use the courts there.
